In addition to Initial and Recurrent training Dan Moore also offers supplemental training. Some pilots would like to do a short refresher course which includes an instrument proficiency check. Perhaps you have just completed a new avionics installation and you would like to get some specific instruction in the use of your new equipment. Dan has experience using nearly every combination of avionics available on the market today including the following:
- Garmin GNS 530/430 Series (Including GNS 480)
- Garmin GTN 750/650 Series
- Garmin G500/G600 PFD/MFD (Including Garmin Txi)
- Garmin G1000(Nxi) and Garmin 3000
- Avidyne Glass Cockpit and IFD 550, 540, and 440.
- STEC Autopilots (Including STEC 55, STEC 65, STEC 60-2, STEC 1500, STEC 2100, STEC 3100)
- Bendix King Autopilots (KFC 150, KFC 200, KFC 250, KFC 225, KFC 300)
- Avidyne DFC 90 and Avidyne DFC 100 Autopilots.
- Sperry Autopilots (SPZ Autopilots)
Supplemental training not only helps you utilize your equipment, but it also gives you the confidence necessary as you fly that new equipment in the IFR environment.
Normal daily rate for the supplemental training (at 0A9) is $1,000 per day. If you would like Dan to travel to your location please inquire and you can be given a quote based on your location.
Please note that supplemental training is not only for the types of aircraft listed for initial/recurrent training. Dan can provide training in any single or multi-engine aircraft piston or turbine.
