Dan Moore offers both initial and recurrent training to satisfy the requirements of your insurance company. While the training is designed to meet the requirements of your insurance company, it will also be specifically tailored to your own personal requirements.
He will help you meet the challenges of learning a new aircraft, but also help you gain proficiency in operating the avionics installed in your aircraft. Instilling confidence in you that you are both competent and proficient in operation and systems are your aircraft is a very important goal that Dan strives to achieve.
The initial or recurrent training is designed to challenge you and help you constantly strive to be a more knowledgeable and competent pilot in your aircraft. The recurrent training program will meet the requirements of your insurance company while improving your skills, maintaining proficiency, and currency.
Dan’s training is designed to be flexible and to meet the needs of your busy schedule. For your convenience, Dan can train at either your location or at his home base in the mountains of northeast Tennessee. There are numerous hotels in the area plus, on-site rental cars (at FBO), and overnight hangar services are available.

All of Dan’s training is approved by aviation insurance underwriters and is designed to be convenient for you. Dan will travel to your location and work around your schedule. If you are not sure if your insurance company will approve Dan’s training program in your aircraft please contact him. He can assist in confirming the approval of his training programs. If your aircraft insurance broker is not sure the training is approved by your the underwriter of your policy please contact me. Dan Moore has been providing initial and recurrent training to clients for over 12 years, and has been recognized by all the major aviation underwriters. If your broker tells you that you must attend a simulator based training, but you prefer to do the training in your aircraft we can work with your broker and your policy underwriter to allow you to do that.

A question that I am often asked is whether I have experience with a certain model of avionics. I have instructed in nearly every combination of avionics that is currently available. I have very extensive experience instructing in all Garmin, Avidyne, and STEC products.
