I now offer mentor training in the Beechcraft Premier (RA-390S) and Cessna CitationJet (CE-525S). Perhaps you have completed your type rating in the simulator and you need to fulfill the requirements of your Supervised Operating Experience (SOE) time. Not only can I fly with you while you obtain the necessary SOE time, but as a designated examiner, I can remove the SOE limitation and issue you the permanent certificate with SOE removed.
I can structure a mentoring program to your needs and your insurance requirements. With 18+ years of experience as a corporate pilot, I can help impart my operational experience as you learn your aircraft and learn how to use the avionics installed in your aircraft. Compared to the simulator you trained in, you may find that your aircraft differs greatly. It may have an entirely different autopilot, GPS, or a myriad of other avionics. I can help you understand how your avionics integrates with your autopilot and other systems.
While you may have completed your training in the simulator, I would like to help you establish good habit patterns in your aircraft which will lead to safe and efficient operations of your aircraft. It is essential that when flying single pilot you establish these good habit patterns.
The program will allow you to complete your Supervised Operating Experience and then at the completion of the time, we are able to process your Type Rating certificate to remove the SOE limitation and issue an unrestricted Type Rating Certificate.
